Scrum Master / Product Manager

Vutility is looking for an experienced Scrum Master and Product Manager to lead our team in agile, Scrum-based software development with the ability to organize, prioritize and assess work. We are looking for someone with exceptional communication skills, technical knowledge, and leadership ability in a fast-paced, constantly evolving tech environment. To be successful in this role, you should be able to identify user needs and work with cross-functional teams to manage products and software development.

Responsibilities

  • Motivate and enable engineers and coordinate across multiple teams
  • Groom and prioritize backlog
  • Enhance product owner efficiency filling gaps in process, product backlog input, and setting a process for execution
  • Set sprint goals
  • Monitoring the sprint’s progress and remove roadblocks impeding the product’s development
  • Recommend what problems need to be solved first, validate challenges as problems worth solving
  • Follow progress of work and report on the success of the sprint through conducting efficiency demos
  • Refine our agile methodology based on results and feedback
  • Communicate changes in the product backlog to development team
  • Motivate teams to collaborate and complete tasks on time
  • Report risks and negotiate the best outcome with Customer First attitude

Skills

  • Work experience as a Product Manager or similar role in product management
  • Certified as a SCRUM Master
  • Familiarity with agile is a plus
  • Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle
  • Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies
  • Team spirit and good communication abilities
  • Good organizational skills
  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field

Qualifications

  • US Work Authorization (Required)
  • Bachelor’s (Preferred)
  • Product Management: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Certified Scrum Master
